Burn piles raise funds for good fire
On March 24, 2019, PUC held it’s first fundraiser. The Meadow Valley Fire Department provided the venue for burn piles lit for the purpose of a cook-off competition! There were 13 Dutch oven chefs who entered the competition. Recipes ranged from Cowboy Cobbler to Savory Lamb Hot Pot. The taste test winner, according to popular vote, was Susan Lee’s Wild Alaskan Salmon Chowder. Susan graciously donated her winnings back to PUC.
